Glenn Poulos is an entrepreneur and strategist who is now building his third company, ProgUSA, a long-standing power industry supplier focused on the equipment and tools needed to test and strengthen the modern grid. His work focuses on supporting utilities, contractors, and the rapidly growing needs of data center and AI power demand.
Glenn began his entrepreneurial path at twenty-nine when he launched his first company, which he steadily grew over fifteen years, ultimately exiting with a solid return. He then co-founded Gap Wireless in 2007, growing it into a major North American distributor with strong year-over-year performance, and helped guide the company to more than $80 million in sales before exiting again in a healthy eight-figure deal.
After two successful cycles in the technology and distribution world, Glenn made a significant shift. He moved from Toronto to Orlando to lead ProgUSA and step into a new industry, a new customer base, new product lines, and a new country. This move represents both personal and professional reinvention, reflecting his core belief that growth comes from changing lanes when others stay put.
Glenn is also a seasoned sales strategist and the multiple international award-winning author of Never Sit in the Lobby, a book that continues to influence sellers and leaders across North America. His approach blends sharp commercial instincts with a human-first mindset built on rapport, empathy, and practical leadership.
Alongside ProgUSA, he enjoys developing two side projects, Acumen Insight and Salesminds.ai, which explore the future of training and performance through simple, usable AI tools. These are passion projects that keep him experimenting and learning without overshadowing his main work in the power sector. Away from the business world, Glenn brings his energy to charity events as an in-demand DJ under the name Phossl. At home, he is the proud dog dad of Pierre and Jean Jacques, his two French bulldogs, who often steal the spotlight.
Glenn’s story is one of constant building, adapting, and staying curious. He speaks openly about reinvention, leadership, and the mindset needed to succeed across different industries, markets, and life stages.
