Please join us for our 2026 planning meeting. This will be a hands-on, interactive meeting where we share ideas and feedback, refine our plans for the year, and provide future engagement and participation opportunities for members.

Discussion Topics:

• 2026 Calendar of Events: review of draft event schedule/calendar, feedback from 2025, and sign up for event committees. We are also welcoming interest in hosting an ‘on location’ event or mixer at your business, speaking at an ECC event, or participating at them in other ways.
• Advocacy Input: an interactive session to identify the major concerns of our business members to be addressed in our advocacy efforts.
• Call for Member Participation: we have identified the need to review and develop some of our core functions. We are looking for members to participate in the following committees: (1) Main Street Event Planning Committee, (2) ad hoc committee reviewing our membership package, benefits and outreach program, and (3) ad hoc committee reviewing our strategic plan and supporting operational objectives.
• Finally, we will have a number of board vacancies at our upcoming AGM in September. Formal expressions of interest will be requested in the late spring. However, getting involved in other ways will help to develop potential board members and help us grow!
